Menchie Alunan Vitente (b.1967), is a graduate of the UP College of Music. Has been into different kinds of crafts for almost 30 years and is self-proclaimed late bloomer in the field of visual arts. She started her art journey in watercolor as a hobby at the age of 49. Took several art workshops from different teachers and learned oil, acrylic and soft pastels.

In October 2018, she decided to seriously commit to her art and studied with Maestro Fernando Sena. Under the maestro’s tutelage, she blossomed as an artist and wholeheartedly embraced art. She has since then joined group exhibits, had a three-woman show in 2021 and had her first solo show 2022.

She is a member of the Philippine Guild of Watercolorists, Philippine Pastel Artists and Philippine Botanical Art Society.
